About Me

I’m Torrance, and for a long time, I didn't actually know what I wanted to do. I’ve always had a passion for creating videos, taking photos and creating art, but I couldn't find where they all fit together. When I was younger, I thought interior design was the dream. I studied art, design and photography at school, then college, and eventually went to university to study interior design. Within the first few months, I quickly realised it wasn't for me - I love design, and I love interiors, but this seemed more like a hobby for me.

 

I took a pivot and applied for a content creation apprenticeship, and that’s when everything clicked. I had always created content for myself, but doing it for others changed the game.

Since then, I’ve built social media pages dedicated to my own house renovation, worked a full-time in-house social media job, and helped small businesses find their footing online. My love for design, photography and video finally merged into one thing. That’s how Torrance. started, and here we are today.
